Welcome to Pride50, a public participation artwork to mark the 50th anniversary of the first Gay Pride march in the UK.
The public artist Martin Firrell is inviting LGBT+ people and their allies to take part in the creation of 5 commemorative public artworks.
Working with the consensus view, and advised by Peter Tatchell, Firrell will create 5 original public artworks to be unveiled on billboards nationally on the day UK Pride turns 50 - 1 July 2022.
The artist is keen to hear what you believe was the single greatest challenge, faced and overcome by the LGBT+ community, in each of the five decades since the first UK Gay Pride march.
