is a series of five public artworks created to mark UK Pride’s 50th anniversary year.

The artist invited LGBT+ networks and their allies to contribute what they felt were the most important issues facing the LGBT+ community in the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, the 2000s and the 2010s.

Participating networks included Sky’s LGBT+@Sky, Channel 4’s 4Pride, the Peter Tatchell Foundation plus LGBT+ staff members and allies at Clear Channel UK, Alight Media, JCDecaux, and Mass Media.

The 1980s were shadowed by the AIDS health crisis and the passing of Section 28 into UK law. The new legislation made the ‘promotion of homosexuality’ a criminal offence, resulting, particularly, in the isolation of young and often vulnerable people.
