The Skin series consists of four digital posters created to coincide with Black History Month, October 2019.

Identity, ethnicity, otherness and outsidership can all be difficult topics to discuss, and realities to live.

'Any Word' is based on the experience of one person in the discussion group describing their experience of banter. They expressed the view that words are important, of course, but so is the intention that lies behind the use of those words.

An intention can be hurtful even if the words are benign and, within limits, the opposite might also be true.
