Anti War Messages
2016
In 1968 the Theatre Act ended the Lord Chamberlain's power to censor productions presented on the English stage.

The very next day, the American hippy musical Hair opened in the West End complete with on-stage nudity and explicit anti war messages. Hair ran for 1,997 performances.
